Type R Anchor Catcher

The Type R Anchor Catcher is a rugged, compact, mechanical tool that anchors tubing in tension, holding it stationary during pump strokes. The anchor also holds the tubing stationary should it part. Anchoring the tubing prevents it from buckling and breathing. This increases pumping efficiency while reducing rod, tubing, and casing wear. When properly set, there is no slip movement to cause casing damage. Unlike other anchor catchers, this tool can be lowered down hole after emergency shear out without resetting slips.

• Anchor the tubing string in tension or compression in wells of any depth. This prevents movement of the tubing string during pumping operation, thus increasing pump efficiency and decreasing rod wear.

• Inconel drag springs protect slips during run-in
