Type DG Liner Hanger

The DG Liner Hanger is a double grip hanger which is designed specifically for short or lightweight liner strings. The hanger prevents upward movement of the liner due to buoyancy or frictional forces.

The Liner Hanger and liner are run in the hole using a running sub. The hanger is set with 1/4 turn left hand rotation and the liner cemented (if desired). The running sub is then released from the liner hanger with 8-10 turns right hand rotation.
