Mechanical Collar Locator

The Collar Locater provides a means of precisely locating casing collars while running tubing. It can be made up in the tubing string at any point, oriented to indicate collar locations while runnig in or coming out.

The body of the Collar Locater is constructed of high strength alloy steel and is of sufficient length to re-cut both box and pin threads several times. The locater blocks are carburized for long wear.
